Mr. Ye Fan (Chairman)
Mr. Ye Fan is the founder of the Group, and is the Chairman and Executive Director of the Company. He is primarily responsible for supervising the operations of the Group, planning its business and marketing strategies, and overseeing the external relationship with banks, government and other business partners.
Mr. Ye Fan started his career in the automobile sector in 1993 upon graduating from college. He worked for various state-owned and private companies in the auto industry, before starting the first 4S store in the city of Dongguan in 1998. He established Dadong Group in 2007 and started to invest in 4S dealerships. Together with his elder brother Ye Tao, Mr. Ye Fan took the operations public on the main board of Hong Kong Stock Exchange as MeiDong Auto in 2013. (Stock Code: 01268.HK)
Mr. Ye Fan was awarded a Bachelor degree in Inorganic Non-metallic Materials from South China University of Technology in July 1993.
Mr. Ye Tao (Chief Executive Officer)
Mr. Ye Tao is the elder brother of Mr. Ye Fan, and is an Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. He is primarily responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of the Group, planning its business and marketing strategies, and supervising investor relationships.
Before joining the Group, Mr. Ye Tao founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of Objectiva Software Solutions (Beijing) Inc., a software development company based in San Diego, California. He later worked for Document Sciences Corporation, a content management software provider, as its General Manager for Asia Operations.
Mr. Ye Tao was awarded a Bachelor degree in Mechanics from Peking University in 1989. He also obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Management, both from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in June 1996.
